Joseph Karwacki is a self taught artist, born and raised in Queens, New York. 

“Karwacki’s works on paper sometimes depict evocative characters developed from his love of anime, video games and comic art, along with an only child’s desire to create a world of playmates. His love of art and materials has lead to his creation of his own drawing tools and process based abstractions. Many works result in a push/ pull between the figurative and the abstract. As a member of the Brooklyn Collage Collective, Joe also excels as a collage artist.”
